For the shrimp cocktail:
- 500 grams of large cooked and peeled shrimp
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 red pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Iceberg lettuce or romaine lettuce for serving (optional)
For the pink sauce:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce (ketchup)
- 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce (optional, for a spicy touch)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
